Body of Water Jennifer Page photo etching on copper with scrape and burnish This image started as a digital photo, imported into photoshop, and slightly retouched. The curves were reduced and the image was converted to a 600 dpi bitmap. It was printed with an Epson 3000 at 1440 dpi on transparency. The plate was coated with Puretch photopolymer film, developed and etched with ferric. Some scraping and burnishing was done after etching to expand the tonal range.
